Default B18B teg motor to a cable tranny?

Will the B18B motor from an ls integra (94+) mount to the cable tranny from an earlier teg or civic?

A B-series tranny will mount up to a B-series motor, whether the trannis is hydro or cable.

Yes it will bolt up. Any b series transmission will bolt to any bseries block.

Thank you guys, that takes a load off my mind. I should have an easier time with this project as long as the cable tranny will go on that b18b motor and it sounds like it does. One thing, I found some lsd conversion kits for around 300 for the cable tranny. Does anyone know of any better deals or which one I should use? That and any recommendations on a clutch that will hold about 250 whp for that cable tranny? Any good/bad experiences with these lsd conversions or clutchs?

Will a hydro clutch and flywheel work with the cable tranny? Someone told me they were differant, i have never confirmed it.

The flywheel and pressure plate will work but the hydro and cable clutch discs are different.

Actually, the hydraulic clutch disk is the same as a 1992-1993 cable disk.

I assume the cable tranny was originally mounted to a b motor? If so won't your stock mounts work? If not then I don't think the tranny will mount to that motor... Either way http://www.hasport.com/Products/Mounts.htm is what you need (yeah they can be pricy!)

ya i havre a b18a1 from a g2 92 teg...and am swaping it into a g5 civic 92-95...i dont want to spend the 190 on the hasp[ort kit so i tryin to find a way around it...its almost better to sell the cable tranny and buy a hydro for the cost of that kit

Unless you have to replace that Hydro tranny and then you'll wish you had a cable tranny. LS cable trannies can be had for very cheap(especially 90-91's).

There isn't a way around using a kit. I believe Enjo(don't quote me on that) makes a somewhat less expensive kit.

still nolimits kit is 195...full race has it for 180....but thats just insane to pay that much for a ****** steel bracket and 1 mount!

im workin w/ another kid who is goin to fab this all up for me for like 50 bucks...which is by far a lot more reasonable
