i've noticed that the MPFI IM has a noch on the top where the injector injects. will this mate with a D15B2 head? i'm asuming the dead dosent have that notch. will that matter? whats been done in the past?
i am not to sure...its been a while since i did this swap..
anyways...i did the mpfi swap myslef and i used a 91 hatch with a d15b2 using a 91 Si head...
i dont remember that notch... not to sure tho....
there are tons of links of mpfi swap all over HT and other sites ...
hope that helps...even tho i didnt give u much info

the notch is there, the only difference in the d15b2 head and the d16a6 head is the cam, porting and everything is the same. I used the intake manifold off a 92-95 civic d16z6. I like it a lot
Yup it will work. Remember, all the heads are from the same cast, the only difference being the level of quality and the parts bolted onto it from the factory.
