I have some 17" Chrome Team Dynamics MotorSport Wheels. Whats the best tire size that will make it look the best on my car? The tires that are on them now are some old Falken 205/40/17, with really bad tire wear.

probably a 205/40/17, same that was on there. Of course, I don't/haven't had 17's so I'm using my best judgement.

i called up some peeps at Falken and they said that the tires are so old they dont even make the sizes anymore. But i guess ill just go with your suggestion. Can you recommend me some good tires, I hear that TOYO and Falken are some really good companies. I just need some tires with long lasting wear, im not into hardcore racing and such, just need some decent tires.

 

I use that same size p205/40r/17 on my 17"s with eibach pro-springs.

Toyo, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Yokohama... I was using Toyo 205-40-17 on a set of 17" silver Enkei RP01's back in the day.

 

Bridgestone has a house branded tire, which is the Fuzion Zri. These are dirt cheap and handle pretty damn well. I'm sure that Kumho has a 712 or 711 that would also work.

 

I've used kumos and they sucked, not even two years on the road and the beeds on the side wall were breaking causing blisters in my tire. These were "H" rated tires, I'm sure the Z rated are probably better but that's the last set of kumo's I'll ever own.
