Why do you use only JDM stuff? I'm just wondering, because it seems silly to limit yourself to such a thing when there's good non-JDM stuff available (SMSP, Hytech, Comptech just as examples). If you're looking for the best, but aren't willing to spend the money, that's self-contradictory too. I don't think anyone's dyno tested an RSR, and I've never heard of KOS, so I can't say anything about either of those. Do a search in the archives for the great header test, that'll give you some idea of what's good and not good.

+1 on why the fawk you only use JDM when it's been proven that Hyetch, smsp and Comptech put down more power than any JDM header.....That is an ignorant statement......

You may want to try the OEM 4-1 type-R exhaust manifold. It flows very good and is oem. Pretty cheap as well. I have not heard much about the RS*R header in a while. I know the header used to be the **** back in the day.

Interesting, I also use JDM parts But won't restrict myself to ONLY.

Although most of the parts I use are from Japan... If I see some thing that is good or better then a part from Japan I use it. Such as Comptech's Al FW. Btw I do not regret it one bit.

Don't sell yourself short on parts from other places.

any jdm header? that st8ment is just as ignorant, if not more than him only wanting jdm ****. i know for a fact that you or 99% of us on here has not seen every jdm product sold. for obvious reasons....they are on the other side of the world. wake up and stop talking ****. i know that sms, hytech, dtr, an-r/ericks/bisi headers are some of the best, but, that's here in North America.

.....does not compute.

You answered your own inquiry and refuted it.

You should either

A: stop being a jdm *****.

or

B: spend some $l00t$

I recommend the latter.

Otherwise, just stick with the stock jdm 4-1 header... it's still jdm after all.....

Ok only was maybe a bad word..Im not american or english so its not my main language forgive me.

But yes mainly I use JDM parts. And from what I have seen here, I came to the wrong place to ask for an opinion....since you all talk too much but in the end what I get is none of you or it seems almost everyone, know JDM good brands except the popular Spoon, Mugen, Toda, ones... Wich I must add are not the best JDMones.

Now... Maybe you havent heard of RS*R headers because they only sell it in Japan... They only export mufflers and midle pipes...and not much more I think.

When I said Toda was out of my budget I made a big mistake...I and once again was bad from me... Two reasons Toda is not that expensive I was confusing and, well yes not every one spend all their money in his car.

Sooo so many people here laughting, cuz I said ONLY use JDM.... well sorry Acura is a Honda brand and Honda is Japonese...and JDM parts in most of the cases are MUCH better then other **** around. Not just because alone it gives you more power...but because in the whole it gives you ALOT more and quality also.

With this said... I thank you for all your coments But in soo many **** I only got two answers to my question.. I guess I'll go with Toda yes...

If you look where he's from you'll see its Faro, Algarve in Portugal so you yourself should stop talking **** and stop assuming that this forum only has US members!
Its actually cheaper to get JDM parts here in europe than to pay for shipping for US company parts. Many Japanese companies have broken into the european market in the last few years and have established agents all round europe. There are a few european companies making aftermarket parts for hondas, but they mainly concentrate on civics & CRX's and TBH i owuldnt touch any of them. I too only have JDM parts on my car, because for a start theyre easier to get, and two theyre way better quality than anything else thats available

The DC JDM 4-1, is a 4-1 obviously, and the Type One Racing is a 4-2-1 header, both dont use the stock cat location. Type one Racing is a JDM company, and the DC JDM header, is a copy of some JDM header.

To answer your thread question:
Go with RS*R, not popular amongst the masses here but since you limited yourself to those 2 options

You may want to search on header threads from the past. They will provide good insight and information to help you decide.

had RS*R and the 4-1 JDM OEM header, and the 4-1 performed alot better. If you option is only JDM products then the TODA header gets my vote
