You didn't read your owners manual did you? You should be running premium 93 octane. I'd suggest going and topping off your tank with some right now and keep doing that everytime your gas gauge goes down for the next week.

first of you need to slap your self for doing such a thing to your car :D j/k

seriously, you want to get the highest octane you can at the gas station, try not to go lower than 92, between 92-94 is what you should be using.

about the "gas cleaner" I use Redlines injector cleaner, it's supposed to clean of your injectors and I think your fuel lines too. just buy a bottle and the next time you fill up on gas pour it in you tank and fill er up.

Are you going to do some engine work on the lude?

i was going simple such as
headers, pulleys, clutch, flywheel, fluidyne radiator, intake, catback. how much would that get me at the wheels.

You'll have about 210-215 at the flywheel and you'll be running high 14s. You could skip the fluidyne and get a VAFC instead, which would let you add fuel for the extra air you'll be getting to the engine.

A supercharger will give you nice drivability and put you in the low 14s, but if you want to go faster you'll need a turbo or nitrous. I've heard from alot of people that the $3500 wasn't worth the power gains.

Thats true i heard the same but also heard the downside of having a vtec engine and turboing some ppl were disatisfied because when vtec kicks in it hurts on torque u can feel the drop or else i woulda gone all turbo and for get the silly headers and such.

JG engine dynamics made the turbo and VTEC work together, but it's hard to do. Personally I'm going with nitrous and high compression.

Why's that? JUN makes some very nice NA parts for the H22A

Yeah all 5Gs are H22A4s. Open deck 2.2L VTEC.
