F22A Swap into a CRX
Alot...It would be similar to an H22 swap but not worth it. H22's can be had for a pretty good price so I would go that route if you are looking at an fseries swap. The power and torque of the f22 make all the time and money you need to spend not worth it imo.

Well the F series has some advantages over the H22. The f-series doesnt need to be sleeved if going turbo. They are cheap and plentiful. They make alot of torque since they make their displacment with stroke. Did I mention they are cheap. They don't need to be sleeved to change the pistons (like the H22). i think of them as big D16z6's.

Both the H22A and F22 have an 87mm bore and 90.7mm stroke. As for price, yes, the F22 is cheap. But you know what? So is the H22A. You can get the motor alone for about $1200. This is not bad for a motor that makes 200HP, 158ft-lb torque (JDM) straight out of the box. And this would be the way to go if you plan to use an adaptor and B-series transmission (which would also be the way to go with the F22). Alternately, you can get an entire changeover for around $2000. But this would be cut and weld. Also, if you go this route, you add ALOT more weight to the front of the car since the H22A transmission is SO heavy.
One more thing: if you want torque over power, you might consider an H23A. These are also dirt cheap and offer the torque of 100cc above and beyond the H22A (like the H22A lacks torque).
