My work is tinting my new car for free for me.. they told me it will be 32% which I know it isn't super dark but.. can anyone show me what that will look like? It's hard to find pics or get a good idea online, but I just thought I'd try! Thanks.

Passenger windows is legal limit (30% I think). Back corners is just passed legal limit.

2nd edit: I meant front windshield not passenger side is 30%ish.

 

you should be able to go to any tint shop and look at the tint samples.....all of the ones around me have samples of the tint on glass

I can't find pics on there. I assume it IS pretty light... i want to see pics so i can call and tell them to change it if i dont like it.

 

Here, this is 35% on the front windows. Picture that all the way around...

 

32% is horrible, you can see through it at night form like 40 feet away, got for 20% if you can and you can only see through it at night when you cup your hands around your eyes, well thats how mine is anyway

that looks way too light for 35% i had 50% on the sides and it was darker then that

Yeah, I'd go darker. If you're only going 32% there's not much point. I have 18% and still think it's a bit light.

 

i changed it to 22% thanks guys!!!

If you still needed it....this was 30%. Pretty close to 32%, differences would be negligible.

Don't flame the bumper. 1) I don't have the car anymore 2) It was free from insurance 3) There is an intercooler and turbo in there that'll beat all j00 f00's!





Note: When I first had it done many years ago, I even had the front windows done. This way, it made the entire tint job look much darker. After failing several inspections and getting tint tickets, I eventually took the front tints off. It made everything a lot lighter. You can easily see inside from all the windows now. Before I removed it, it was slightly difficult to see inside. You could make out a person inside, but not necessarily WHO was inside unless you took a good long look.

 

i believe i have 13% all the way around 1 step up from limo tint and its dark for sure i live in cali but i had it done in nevada and its not illegal there but it is in cali to have the front windows tinted, just have to keep your windows down around cops
