Question about some B16A history...

Default Question about some B16A history...

Has the B16A1 (not B16A Gen-1, which I know never left Japan) ever come in any USDM car from the factory.

And the B16A2 has only come in the USDM 99-00 Civic Si from the factory, right?

And the B16A3 has only come in the USDM 94(93?)-97 del Sol VTEC from the factory, right?

Just looking around at engine swaps and got a little curious .

3)correct
word of advice if you can save or afford a usdm b16 i would get it over a jdm
especially if you want to be obd 1 or 2
its possible with the jdm but more work and $$

a little info on the b16a, that is jdm out of 99-00 si in japan, i bought a b16a from ard perormance and they told me that the motor came out of a 99-00 jdm si, the motor came with a cable tranny, meant for the 4th gen civic
