installation of NSX front brake calipers on 2001 ITR
I have an opportunity to buy NSX front brake calipers and was wondering what is involved in installing them on front of 2001 ITR. I plan on using my stock 15 inch wheels as well as my Kosei K-1 15 inch x7 inch with 45 mm backset track wheels with this set up.
i'm not sure if the calipers bolt right up to the ITR. i believe you'll have to get brackets made for them. someone correct me if i'm wrong...
correction. you are wrong. They bolt up. depending on the year however you may have to shave the mounting surface a tiny bit to center them properly on the rotor....and as steve pointed out you may have trouble fitting them under your 15"s

You need the front rotors from a Legend GS (aka Type 2 Legend).

It works fine. Bolts up.

another note worth mentioning is that the Legend GS calipers are the same size as NSX.. they don't have the cool NSX logo.. but they are cheaper.
nsx zanardi edition calipers bolt onto the stock itr front spindles w/ stock rotors.
