Just got my H&R race springs take a look...
Okay so I just got my new springs in the mail this morning and I have one question.
In the picture you can see that one of the front ones has a slightly different colour of red and has the marking D/S beside the H&R logo when the other three springs have the marking N/V. Why is this?

I'm not too greatly concerned over this as the spring seems identical, I am just curious.
Now I just need to find some decent shocks...

Not really the motor, but the driver himself. Perhaps a call to H&R or an email will clear this up.

Sometimes tuners will dial in a little more height on the drivers side to try and compensate for the drivers weight and try to balance it out more. I have H&R Race springs on my M3 and when I measured the overall height, the passenger side is slightly lower.
Well I just made the call and she told me that it will not ne a problem probably just a different day that the spring was made or a different batch of springs. Hmm well the search for shocks continues then I will see how they do.

looks like the same exact spring to me, was probably just made on another run. which explains why the marking is made on a different spring coil level. otherwise, it seems exactly the same.
D/S or N/V might be their own batch numbers for their own reference.

As I said above I called H&R and they said the stamps just indicate batch numbers meaning my springs were not all made in the same batch.
The spring rates are all the same.
