Got new digi cam, got a few questions.
I just got a Canon Powershot Pro1 a couple of days ago. and I've been playing around with it. My question is how do I go about resizing the pictures if I want to post them on here. Right now they are huge, 3264x2448.
Thanks,
Eric

You're such a camera newb. I thought I was.
The Rebel is a SLR camera. I hope you understand what that means..
What are you going to do with the 8700 when you want to take better pictures than the stock lense? Get a lense adaptor?? Don't ge tme wrong. 8700 is an awesome camera. But it sits on the same level as the G6 and Pro1.

lol, do I know what an slr is? come on man. I'm just saying the rebel didnt impress me in any way or on any level. My dad has a D70 with several different lenses so maybe I was trying to compare it to that, i dunno. Either way, if the fit and finish of the camera isnt any good, I wouldnt want to spend a grand on it. Second, it is very dark through the eye peice on the rebel and you cant view through the screen so night shots are nearly impossible.
close up shot btw...
