Spring Rates w/ 26mm Mugen sway
hi all. first here is my suspension set-up
Apex' N1 type-v (12k front, 6k rear)
OEM 24mm front sway
Mugen 26mm rear sway
My question: i was thinking about switching the spring rates to give the car more oversteer. i know i want around the same spring rates as i have now but switched front/rear) was wondering if i would be able to run 6k front, 12k rear or if that would give too much oversteer. Anyone running similar sway bar thickness that can shed light to what spring rates they use on the track and how they like it?
thank you for all your comments, as i am open to all.

how do you know that? you haven't even tried it. really, the ideal spring rates vary from person to person and their various driving styles. there is no one solid answer as to what is "best," but instead you need to try it and tweak from there.

The handling characteristics of a 12k/6k setup will depend on a lot of factors. I'm often wary of a set-up that has such a dramatic difference in rates from front to back. Springs are just one tool to tune your suspension, and if your rates need to be dramatically different front to rear to find the characteristics you are looking for then you have not explored all of the other options in my opinion...
