wierd noise
ok, i have this noise from the engine bay when im driving. Its like as if i was in reverse kinda noise. This took affect for two days then it decided to add this scraping noise(like a metal bb gun pelet rolling on something metal.) so when i go past 2 k rpm it does this, and when im going 50 mph and push in my clutch, the noise stops. Im thinking its either the water pump(dont ask why) or timming belt. But hopefully its not my transmission
an axle maybe... I remember when i snapped my half-shaft it made that noise you speak off...But you say it still drives....Check the boots dude.....Could be something that needs grease....
I'm only guessing, but I've heard that a throw-out bearing makes a similar noise. And that would make a difference when you push in the clutch. Again, I'm guessing here. Not a mechanic.
