Why does my amp keep blowing fuses out?!??!
Im not what you would call car/audio savy but i recently installed a amp and small 12in sub in my car and it was working good for about two weeks now then today when i was driving to school i was adjusting the volume and i hit a bump and turn the volume up pretty high then my amp/sub just dies out im sitting in the car wondering wtf just happend
so i park my car and get out look at the amp all the wires are find but yet no power check the remote/ground/12v and still nothing rca and sub everything is still pluged in like it should be...
so i wonder hmmmm maybe i should check the fuse and low and behold its blown and im wonder hmm wtf
i get the spare 20 fuse from the underdash fuse box throw it in there and bam my amp comes back but i quickly changed the cd to make sure the sub is working properly and then wtf it goes out again
walk over to the hood AGAIN!! and guess what the fuse blew!!! AWWWW WTF!!!
so if anyone can help me out here i know this is a long post but i need some help i wanna put my amp back but if worst comes to worst then ill take it out

That's because the amplifier is broken. Something is shorting inside and burning the fuses. There is really nothing you can do but send it in for warranty or take it to an audio repair place. What kind of amplifier is it?
is it for sure the amp i mean i never had a problem with it beofre
its a sound stream amp?
ill try and change out the amp tommorw morning and see if that was it
any other suggestions
