throttle response

Default throttle response

I got a 1993 EG vx its be 1.5 sohc vtec-e. I dont know if its all vx's but mines as a slow *** throttle response. I would be flooring it and not until like half a mintue later when i feel the engine. any comments tell me

Aside form the obvious (you're driving a 92 hp economy car that doesn't really have much throttle response), you could try giving it a basic tuneup--plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, check your timeing, maybe a vlave adjustment and run some fuel system cleaner through it.
