Default Honda Accord Stock Keyless Entry???

Does anyone know if there is a way to find out if a 1995 accord EX has a keyless entry system? I bought the car awhile ago and it didnt come with any remotes, but I got it as-is. I didnt even know if the 95 coupe came with keyless but then I saw an EX on ebay with keyless listed as an option. Does anyone know?

ditto on that question... thanks for asking it.
I noticed a relay next to my break pedal the other day and I was wondering that same thing.

I'd like to know the same thing about my 96 EX also. My car otherwise seems fully loaded (except for leather) so I dunno.

I believe the alarm system/keyless entry with my 94 EX was either a factory or dealer option cause of the manner with which it was installed, and the location of the indicator light.....see pic below; it's by the hazard light switch, in the spot where the factory optional fog light switch would be also...you can also see the remote hanging off the keys in the ignition:

but this is not a definite answer to your question....anymore thoughts

jacking the thread for a minute... so that is what that other thing symmetrical to the emergency flashers is for? the factory fog switch location. That damn thing had me stumped for the longest time...

same here. I thought I was being clever when I decided I will put my alarm indicator light in that spot (granted its the only logical place to drill a hole).

Its been a year since I have been "thinking" about installing an alarm.
Hope someone comes to this thread and diffinitively tells us we have a pre-installed alarm. That would be very cool

the only way I think to figure this out would be to go to the dealer and let them pull up your VIN on the honda database to see what options and features it came with.

The 5th gen did not come with an alarm on all cars, I believe only the special edition came with an alarm standard. But on all of the cars the alarm system was optional. The alarm is still available from honda and can be plugged into all 5th gen accords (the 94-95 and 96-97 alarms are a little different but from what I know they are universal for all years) The kits cost 300+ from honda though But I bought a factory alarm kit off ebay brand new for a steal and I've been trying to find the conector harness for a few months now (thanks to accordfreak I've got one on the way). Other options for the cars were the trunk opener and siren instead of horn. I love oem parts and cant wait to install mine
Here's a site with some pics of the factory alarms...

Look under your steering colum cover or drivers seat for the "brain" and if theres one there, you have an alarm.

I bought a 95 lx with a factory alarm but no remots.
The best thing to do is fave the factory alarm removed & have a new non-factory installed.

You would first have to contact Honda. I live in Ohio and get parts from marysville on a regular basis, Phone 1-937-642-5000 ask for the service center and then( parts center) then you will need year , make ,model ,and mabey the vin# but the only problem is you need a number to order parts. but at least you will know or perhaps I could help you out with getting one.
