Default decision time for the g2..

as posted earlier, im lookin to do an engine swap in my g2.. my two options are go ls/vtech.. or swap for an 01' gsr motor with 60000 km *(canadian)*
both are relativley close in price.. the gsr is a bit more.. just kind of curious what my best bet would be.. the guy doin the build is pretty a reputible builder, soo what do you think?

thanks

go ls/vtech for $388....

seriously, pay a little more for the gsr motor....i wouldnt get an ls/vtec unless the thing was built...gsr should be a swap it and forget it, the ls/vtec will be a swap it and rebuild it when you try to rev it like a gsr...

^^Reduced price for vtech.

On a serious note, I think you should get the GSR.

You can get the expansion base for only $49.

Your price on the base setup might be over priced for $388

I used to be an ls/vtec fiend but after more research I'd have to say GSR also. Unless you like to spend time under your hood.

go ls/vtec if your building the engine

go gsr if your not.

ls/vtec rev to 7k is waste...
anything over 7k is overkill for rods

What tranny is going to be hooked to the engine. If you are going with a B18C1 and the LS tranny dont even waste your time IMO

B18b1 with 404 cams and tuning will be faster. Better in price. Thats what I would do.
