Default Tranny leak, CEL 14 (IAC)

Hey there people.. I just finished the 99' USDM b16a2 swap into my 99' hatch and ran into some problems.

1st Problem.. after coming home from the muffler shop, i noticed that there was a little leak near the tranny case(also near oil drain plug). So i did a inspection of the axles/tranny drain plug/tranny filler plug & retighten all the bolts on the tranny case. From there, everything seem fine. I took it for another test drive and it still leaks. it leaks verty slowly.

What would you guys suggest doing?

2nd problem.. the engine is throwing a CEL 14 which is IAC(idle air control valve). I inspected all the vacuum lines/connector and even starting the car with the rediator cap off but it's still throwing a code 14. My car would idle fine when i start it up but once i drive for 5-10 minutes. It would idle at 1.5k and would jump up and down from 1.5k to 1.7k

Would could be wrong? Any help would ge greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Fixed the oil leak, it was the axle seal afterall.

Changed out the IAC valve but the idle is still fucked.

EDIT: CEL 14 is fixed!! I plugged up the cruise control line. Now it idles fine.

if you used your original harness......did you do the 3 wire IACV to 2 wire fix? I had the 14 CEL forever and I realized that I didn't do the 3-2 wire fix.

My tranny's leaking also......I'm pretty sure its the axle seals.

i'm using the 99' SI harness and it has the correct 2 wire connector. I tried cleaning the screen on the IACV and the CEL 14. I didn't use barv cleaner tho. Just used a clean cloth w/o lint to clean it. The CEL 14 went away for 10 minutes and came back. It started to bog right when the CEL 14 flashed.

I really hope its the axle seals.

Any more info would be appreciated.

for the iac you need to repin two wires on the ecu...here's a link on how to do it.

hope this helps

Thanks for the suggestion but i'm using the 99 SI harness w/SI ECU. so the repin cancels.

I tried to clean the IAC screen with carb cleaner yesterday. After the test drive, it was idling fine. Then 15 minutes later, it was idling at 1500 again but it didn't jump up n down like it was a few days ago.

The transmission leak, Im hoping that its a bad axle seal. I can't really determine if its really the problem.

I guess i'll take it to a shop and have them fix it. Hope it wont be $1000000000 to fix it.

Any other suggestions guys?

Yeah, I changed out the IACV VALVE ALREADY!!! it still doesn't work. Everybody seems to think thats the case but most of the time. You don't have to change out the IACV

I am having the same problem with my IAC, ive changed it out, looked for vacuum leaks, checked hoses, I have NO clue whats wrong either. I just took a piece of aluminum and blocked off the IAC holes haha it still surges tho but a lot less.
