hey i want to do a transmission swap on my auto 2001 base prelude.. i wanted to know if a transmission off a jdm h22 would fit on my usdm h22a4.. also how much could i expect to pay for a transmission alone.. and how much could i expect to pay total for all the parts and labor for the swap..

does anyone know where i could get a transmission that fits and with no grinds?

yes a JDM tranny will bolt up to your h22a4. expect to pay anywhere from 400-1000 depending on condition, if it has LSD, etc..

Ive never personally done the auto to manual conversion but i would say expect to pay at least 500 just for other misc parts on top of the tranny cost. This isn't exact but it will leave you with a few hundred dollar buffer in the event something doesn't go according to plan.
