IAT - intake air temperature sensor question???

Default IAT - intake air temperature sensor question???

can someone tell me what color the wires for this is? im using a 99-00 si harness. its throwing a code for it and i have one wire hanging that doesnt plug in, maybe because im using a si harness and its a type r head and IM. so can someone tell me what color the wires are so i can change the plug?

hey is the IAT the one that goes into the intake? cuz thats the colors of it (green/black, red/yellow). i checked it and its all good i dont know why it would throw a code for that. i also have a wire thats (green/black, yellow/black) could this be the IAT? its the one that goes into the IM but my plug doesnt fit so i have to change it.

Yes, it is a black pluga nd (most of the time) a black sensor. It goes into the intake tube. If you are different intake manifold then the SI (99-00), it will have the IAT on the intake manifold, you have to rewire it to that plug.

alright, iam using a 2000 itr manifold so i will have to rewire and get the plug for it.

up again! which wire on the IAT plug is the ground, i don't want to wire it wrong.
