What weight oil you use in your EF/CRX?
I have always used 5W-30 in my EG hatch because it is recommended but I just realized that the CRX Helm's only recommends 5W-30 for cold weather.
What does everyone else use, the 10W-30 or 10W-40? I plan on using this car for summer (autox) so it definitely has to stand up to some hot temperatures.

I use 10W-40, even in the winter, because my piston rings are starting to go. I've never had any trouble and my car (90 si hatch, 87k) runs like a dream. I also did the same thing with my wagon (d15b2, 240k) and it's also still going strong.
Adding a higher weight oil is a cheap way to keep oil from getting into the combustion chamber if your piston ring seals are starting to wear. Other options include additives (costs $$) and rebuild (costs time + $$).
