Default rear disc swap worth it?

I have a '00 hatch and only plan on running about 180-200hp(turbo) is it really worth the extra expense to do the swap?

The entire 2-300 dollars and an afternoon of your time? How much money is going to be spent on that 180-200 hp and how big is the $300 brake swap in comparison? Some will say its worth it, some will say drums are fine, I guess its really your call. Maybe someone will have a compelling reason one way or the other, but I personally do not.

Rear disc are something nice to have but you can live w/o them if you want.

drums actually stop the car better than discs, assuming that you're actually using the rear to brake. When you brake, all the weight is shifted towards the front end of the car so I really don't think the rear does that much.

The main advantages of discs is better cooling and the ease to change pads and rotors.
