Default complete JDM 96 ITR on Ebay... still in Japan though

Just thought that I would post this to see what you guys all thought.... not for me but.... I mean parted out this car would be worth well more.

Although I know that the DOT has the policy of chopping cars in half sooooo.

While I'm not the most up to date on DOT and EPA policies I have a good idea.

He says shipping to the US is $750... I mean at the least if the EPA are gonna be ******** to at least get it here bring it through canada or mexico.

That's bout it, what you guys think

It's worth it just for the swap, then you could make tons on selling the JDM (Ohhh my god JDM) pieces. lol

That was my thought. It has ALOT of the nice pieces. Just missing the better 5-lug's and the fact that the '96 spec motor, trans, and suspension didn't come close to the '98 spec.... it's still a JDM ITR though

Is it me or does anyone else feel there is too much hype involved in JDM ****? What is funny about this is this guy must be trying really hard to sell this car. What is alarming is the lack of information he provided on the vehicle. Also, anyone in their right mind knows that shipping a car to and from Japan is close to 2K. Why do I know this, because before I bought #122 last summer, I was literally bidding on RHD Type R's that were being auctioned off.

Little do people know; these cars, though bad *** to have, are extremely difficult to license and get through customs (chopped into pieces or not). I seriously hope that the winning bidder on that auction has done his research and knows what he's getting into.

Aloha,
Brandon

Read my sig and you will know how I feel bout JDM ****.

I was mainly postin in case any ITR guys were interested.... frankly I don't care bout the car.

DOT and EPA are ASSES about customs that I know. I don't have one but I've heard stories... at least in cali. Yes that was another reason for the post so that others will know A: how much of a bitch it is and B: well if anyone was interested.

Plus the front bumper is cracked and NO pics of the engine. BUT he has 100% feedback off of 130 sales sooooo.

Just a head's up to anyone lookin for a JDM R... at the very least two halves of onee
