i had my car painted and they spary in my cold air intake and the filter is all cover with paint my questions is does it matter what kind of filter i buy i know k&n make good one but i also heard from my friend that i can go to van's auto or autozone and get a filter for 20 dollars and it would be the same

The best filters are K&N and Apex'i. Get one of those

 

ok thanks i just use the clean one i have right now until i have time to got and buy an K&N filter

 

the power filter is also good ( the blue one)

 

what brand are the power filter? cause i have a blue one with a hole in the middle

 

they are like 80 bucks i think. same basic design as the apexi intake cept its blue, diff company, and got like a little ball/cone thing that supposed to swirl the air.
