what to make taillight gaskets out of?
i searched but came up with nothing...... what are people making their gaskets out of and where do you buy the stuff from..... im tryin to avoid paying for the oem ones so i thought id ask
i know a guy made them a while back and sold them but he doesnt make them anymore
any help is greatly appreciated!

you'll have to cut it up a bit to make it work, but you can go to napa and buy sheet 2 x 4 Ithink with 3/8ths thickness of cork/rubber material. Its a flat sheet so you'll have to cut it an ply with it. Possibly fill the gaps in with silicone before you put it on so it doesnt stick to anything you dont want it to. Once it dries and ssuming you made a goo template first, that'll do it. i think they charge like five to ten bucks for the sheet, just sk for a sheet of gasket material, cork/rubber, they'll know what your talkin about
