Drive the R once a week
Do I need to do any special maintenance if I drive my R once every 7 days?
Right now I oil change it every 3k miles syn oil. My battery usually dies if I don't drive it for 14 days. but 7 days, it seems okay.

Thanks
since I asked, can you please tell me when I change front brake pads... besides removing it and put the new ones back in and screw tight.. are there anything else? I need to watch out for, such as brake fluids?

It seats the pads against the rotor. Just give it a few pumps until the pedal firms up. You dont have to do it, unless you like running into a curb when you first drive it.

It really has nothing to do with the pads or rotors. After changing pads you will have compressed the piston to get the new pads into the caliper (watch out for brake fluid coming out of the resevoir becasue of this). You need to pump the pedal several times after the install is complete to get the piston and fluid doing what they need to do again.

insurance is not bad... $148/month for 2 cars, type r full coverage.

COME ON!!!
Evaluate this my beater cost me $900 (see sig) always runs good, gets like 30-32 mpg everywhere it seems and the insuarnce is NOTHING. I have actually SAVED money, and that's just over a GSR. by insuring the teg 5 or so months a year and the Honda 6-7 months. So over the course I saved around $400 oon insurance alone (I'm 18 so it'd prob be less for older guys). It's on PLPD + comprehensive so I still save TONS of cash.
Not the flashiest things around and chicks don't really like it... but it sure as hell is fun in the snow and my baby stays salt free, clean, and with minimal mileage in the driveway.
Also parts are ALOT cheaper on the Civic which is even more cash for the teg.
