I got the old engine out and things are really starting to happen now......I just have one concern......When I am swaping the intake manifold, it seems as though there is a hole right on the corner of the head next to the last intake mainfold hole. I heard is is to let some coolant in so that the throttle body does not freeze. Regard less, the holes are actually shaped differently on the 2 engines. On the D16Y7 (the new engine) this hole is round, however on the D15B7 (the old engine) this same hole is like a square shape (not really a square but definitely no where close to being a circle.)
-My question basically is: Which intake manifold gasket should I buy......the one for the d16 or the one for the d15? If you guys could help me out with this I would appreciate it. Thanks once again.

i would go with the d15 gasket but it really dosnt matter with one u use cuz thay ar almost the same motors

 

or just cut your own out of cardboard!
