RSR installed.. *PICS*
just installed my rsr cat back on my civic cx hatch today. It sounds great! I had to use a stock DX header, becuase of the wierd setup on the CX. I also used an Accord cat, becuase i got it for free! (thanks jeff!!
). oh jeff.. notice how clean and new the stock dx header looks, remember when u gave it to me.. it was covered in rust! who said a wire brush doesnt work wonders!

haha.. not for a while. Gotta gix the damge first.. then get some suspension and wheels. ill swap maybe this summer.. B18C5.. here i come!
sweet.. glad you decided to keep your hatch!
Mine was totaled last saturday, hit and run.. I was on a 4 lane road, in the right lane, and some jackass in the left lane decides to make a right hand turn and plow into the left front corner of my car... He then takes off running, and i go chasing after him with my fender and bumper rubbing and dragging off my car, and then give up IMMEDIATELY after i get his liscense plate #. I gave up because we were doing 70 through a residential neighborhood, and it was at noon on a saturday.. I diddnt want to endanger anyone else. I get back to the scene of the accident, right infront of wheel warehouse where some people i know saw the whole thing, called the cops, gave them the plate, and guess what? The plate goes to a car that was reported stolin a year ago and doesnt match the description of the ford ranger that hit me.
Anyway- My insurance company totaled it, and im buying it back. Im gonna fix the car myself with used parts. fixing it- including the frame pull, will be about 600 bucks. The rest is going into a b16 swap
anyway-glad to see your hatch is coming along!

came like that. old old old skool rsr came w/ black piping and a black canister. my friend, who i bought it off of, had it redone in black because the original paint was beginning to flake off or something. i like it. nice and stealthy. quiet as a library.
Wow, I thought you couldn't get RS*R in the states anymore. I wanted a RS*R for the Si, but thought I couldn't get it. So I decided on the DC TCS. If I can get a RS*R, I will. Where do you get them?
I like the rs-r a lot looks sweet, Downeybear did you make a custom box around your intake? Also your bypass valve looks like it's right before the intake manifold. i thought that you'd have to cut the intake and mount it lower in the intake (since it's one piece) for it to work, well. either case looks good, nice job cleaning the header.
RK, Buzzbomb..
i bought the exhaust of a guy on the board called Alan,
sales@alternativemotoring.com
and yea its full stainless steel.
Grimm,
i made the box around my intake to cut down on the heat going to the filter, its real ghetto, but it works great. Oh thats not a bypass valve.
