ok i just got some jdm headlights.. ~ after messing with all the wires and stuff blowing a few fuses last night..ect.. this morning i went to take my car for a test drive around the neighborhood.. and when i put in the brake the shift release lock didnt click.. i have to get my other key and manually take off the release via the key hole on the gear box to get it out of park.. i was thinking it was a fuseable link.. anyone have any suggestions???

see if you have brake lights,if not,ck the brake lite switch or fuse
