Default F22A1 Good Or Bad?

I have a 91 accord coupe lx. i was thinking of making it faster but im wondering if the engine it currently has is a decent one or if i should go for a motor swap first. it currently has the F22A1. i was thinking of swaping with an H22 but im not sure. any help is appreciated. thanks

look over there --> then look up there ^... you should see the search button, its very helpful in situations like yours.

First things first; figure out what your goals are for the car (track, drag, or just fast?) THEN do some research on WHAT you are wanting to do.

You can make the f22a a pretty damn good power house just depends on how deep your pockets are .

if u want fast, just get a H22A. Turbo on an F22a would also work, but it has lots more problems then just a H22A.

I'm keepin my f22a1 (...until I change my mind). It only has 117k on it. Sure it's NA, and low compression, but it's torquey and fun to drive, (with good mods).

In a few years CB7s will be antiques and I think it would be cooler to have the original block in it at that point. Those of us who own CB7s I don't think we pretend we have the most up-to-date technology, If we wanted that, we'd go get an Si or S2k

good luck trying to pass smog in Cali...its possible but a PITA.
