F22A1 Good Or Bad?
I have a 91 accord coupe lx. i was thinking of making it faster but im wondering if the engine it currently has is a decent one or if i should go for a motor swap first. it currently has the F22A1. i was thinking of swaping with an H22 but im not sure. any help is appreciated. thanks
First things first; figure out what your goals are for the car (track, drag, or just fast?) THEN do some research on WHAT you are wanting to do.
You can make the f22a a pretty damn good power house just depends on how deep your pockets are

I'm keepin my f22a1 (...until I change my mind). It only has 117k on it. Sure it's NA, and low compression, but it's torquey and fun to drive, (with good mods).
In a few years CB7s will be antiques and I think it would be cooler to have the original block in it at that point. Those of us who own CB7s I don't think we pretend we have the most up-to-date technology, If we wanted that, we'd go get an Si or S2k
