I have a 94' B18b1 that i am swapping into an 88' honda crx with a cable tranny almost have all of my parts to do the swap. This is my FIRST swap and i just want to know if anybody has a link or anything where i can find some sort of swap guide for a crx with an LS. Thanks.

Check out the b16 swap pages in the faq thread at the top of the page..

Its the same as the b16 swap but without vtec..

Also your car is obd0 and that motor is obd1..So you either have to convert the motor to obd0..(By using a 90-91 b18a distributor)..or convert your car to obd1..(obd1ecu,obd0-obd1 conversion harness,etc)

Just found this....i never seen it before I was looking for ryan's page....Dropped crx or something liek that.....BADASS site....
just look around. Don't beleive everything you say. Some of these sites are weak *** losers who think they know how to swap but are stuck changing spark plugs. Be mindful. I once had some guy try and convice me the hf was DPFI....so i mean you never know.....good luck there's a lotta good out there but alot more bad...

would a B16 swap be different from an ls swap just by the wiring.

 

Yeah, the wiring for vtec makes them different also I believe the knock sensor.
