polishing sunroof deflector
i have a factory sunroof deflector for my rex but its looking rather worn and aged. What products are out there that can REMOVE fine swirl mark scratches and keep it that way?
waxes and stuff can make it look shiny for a while but then the plastic dulls and the swirl marks come back.....
Suggestions? I have meguire's plasticX but I'm not too sure if that's a permanent solution.
Thanks

I've used "Plexus" on my helmets and parts of sportbikes and it works well. Although, this is more subtle at filling in light scratches and probably best for maintaining a new part. Usually can get this at any motorcycle accessory shop.
You might want to try "Novus" (http://www.noscratch.com/novus/ ) for heavier scratches. I see it carried in a lot of catalogs I get from race part supply houses since it works well on Plexi and Lexan.
But as was mentioned, you might want to price a new part if they still stock it. It may be more cost effective.
