Can anyone tell me what a decent drop for my 97 Accord? I have 17" Voxx racing wheels and I have seen everything from a 1.9 rear 2.25 front and rear. I dont want scrubbing issues when I do it so I'm comming to the knowlege base of all Honda Forums...

 

you have 17's and no drop? Oh god, lower that car asap.

I have mine @ almost 3"... some people prefer 1.9, 2, 2.5, any more than 3 and your car will look like its on "bags."

yeah...i got mines on a 3+...i think it'll look fine with 17's on a 3' drop...

 

but anything more then 2.5 isnt it bad for the shocks? like the ride gets all messed up?

 

not if you have struts that adjust the ride height (keeping spring the same no matter what the drop)
