im installing a system into my 2005 honda accord lx. but i dont have a deck, im having trouble taking out the stock head unit so that i can hook up my subs. i bought an LOC to connect the subs to the stock system but all i need help is on how to take off the head unit, it seems more complicated than most cars ive seen. thanks i thought all you needed to do was get a philips flathead and just pop it out? thanks

 

Popout the ashtray like pocket. Take out two screws and remove that panel. Take two screws that hold the big pocket out. You can pull the pocket straight out. You will have to work it out with the pocket door by opening and shutting it to slide it out. You can get to the radio plug from underneath without takingthe radioout. You can get the plug out without taking the radio out. Or, youcan just grab the signal at the rear speakers.
