Default ACT clutches noisy?

About 2 weeks ago i finished installing my ACT HA3-XTSS clutch combo and all was well. Well about 4 days later lord behold i had oil comming from in between the tranny and the block, it ended up being the crank seal.

Anyways after i put everything back together, i quickly noticed that the clutch pedal felt lighter than before. Before the added pressure of the pedal was very noticable. But now it feels almost stock. I also noticed that before the clutch would engage about and inch from the floor. Now it engages at the stock locatiom.

This is very confusing. Now i was only in about 300 miles in the break in period before i had to take everything back apart. Do you think the removal of the clutch so soon after installation might of affected the clutch in anyway? Today i noticed that when i am disengaging the clutch it makes noise and at the very end of the pedal travel it makes a slight pop. It sounds like the pressure plate springs are making the noise.

For those of you who have an ACT clutch, did the pedal feel change as time went by? Also, are yours this noisy?

When I first drove mine after the installation,
it enguaged real close to the floor.

Then it eventually enguaged a little farther up.

Did you grease the throughout bearing between the
shaft and the bearing by any chance?
