Default Body damage on my 1999 honda civic ex

So i got my car back in march. Got liscense April 27.... got slammed by a drunk driver that then drove off... great huh? Well he totally killed my drivers side back quarter panel. Got estimates from body shops saying between 1,500 and 2,500 roughly. So if anyone could tell me how to post pictures i will show everyone what i got. I heard that its impossible to get new quarter panels for civic coupes... like welded on or some stuff.

Bump apreciated!

I live at the shore and people drink all the time. The guy was swurving all around the road.... i tried to get to my shouldar and he came right for me in my lane. And it was at 10:30 at night. Curfew is 11:00 with provisional liscense in Jersey...

well they are welded on i have damage to mine but am to lazy to find, and pay, to fix it. It can be done, as with anything, it all depends on how much your insurance or your walet will give you

Hmm well the police came out when it happened and i put a report out. But i called my insuarance company and they said that i would have to pay the 700 dollar deductable and since they never caught the guy that hit me, my insuarance would go up. Sucks doesn't it? grhh.... thats life for you. but yeah basically i thought going through insurance would end up being more then if i just got it done myself

well then it depends on how deep your wallet stretchs. but if you live on the shore you must be loaded.

It si possible to fix. Just call the local junkyards and they can cut one off for you. Sometimes even dealer might have it. My friend ordered a quaterpanel for his a4 from audi deler and it was only $350.
