Converting a 6th gen. accord V6 to manual?? ...can it be done? ..i know it will be pricey...but where can i go? ...i live in Los Angeles, Ca. ...so anywhere around here??

Head over to http://www.v6performance.net and search for Jimmyrecluse or CLS tranny swap. Theres 2 i believe, maybe more, that have the 6spd swap.

from what ive read, its a hell of a time, it involves tricking the ECU and all sorts of ****

you might as well do the full cl-s 6 speed swap, or buy another car

yea i've heard its more money then its worth, i would just get a manny fresh trans. car and then a motor swap. H22a of course

H22a is not a god of motors...we're talking about V6 cars, and replacing the V6 with a 4 cyl will have such a horrible impact on torque atht we'd basically kill any fun the car had to drive...

In most 4 cyls the H is good, and civics can now swap in the K which is even better, but Honda V6s can only be boosted for massive performance gains...

The cost and the time involved make it hardly worth the effort, but if you have extra of each then i guess it is possible.
