As is the motor will run mid 13's all day long in a eg or ek. Motor broken in properly and mobil 1 synthetic on the regular basis.
The motor was built professionaly and all parts were torqued to spec. Serious inquiries only, this car is a killer on the street.

11 sec is not fast in anyway shape or form. I know these 2 guys from around your area that drive Jettas that run 11 sec and they are still street cars.

Yeah guess what, theres a handful here whose cars go 11 and is still streetable.

 

Althought I don't agree with 11 seconds not being fast....I do agree about your statement about the motor. However, I don't see why you are making it your business to come on this board and start trouble with someone who just wants to sell their motor.

CTR piston a b18c1??? does it still have a gsr head? if it does you much running some high *** compression. what's the compression on that motor?

who are you MR. NOMOTORKNOWLEDGE... obvioulsy you dont know anything bout motors if you are going to say that a gsr with ctr pistons has a 14.1 comp ratio... go back to where ever you came from and wake up when it is today.

Any 1 with honda knowlege will know that that setup has a comp ratio of 12.7:1 and it runs fine on pump gas

All EVIL is trying to do is help a BOY out by posting his motor forsale... why do all you no knowledge people have to post this crap...

for any think i dont know what i am talkin bout, i personally help put parts of this motor together and it hurts to see you rip it apart. Infact, i will garantee that this motor will ripp most of yours apart.

So if you dont want to buy it or ask important questtions ... go someplace else to troll around...

 

haha..to the guy who said it cant run on pump gas...how would u know..ive driven this car many many times....and filled it for my boy when i drive it...seems to still run hard as **** on 94 octane..i dont know where you get youre "all motor" knowledge from...i guess allmotor in your eyes must be bolt on parts huh...

im sorry but you will have a really hard *** time hitting high twelves in that motor. you cant tune that motor very much with that gsr head and ctr pistons, you will start knocking really bad, the gsr head isnt built for dome top pistons, thats why people run the b16 head. thats the problem with gsr heads, high comp. pistons dont work well with it.

 

Umm the gsr combustion chamber shape creates a better quench area than a b16 which would help eliminate detonation. I'm not taking sides either but I have personally seen the car this motor came out of and met the owner to sell some parts and he filled up with 93 oct right in front of me.

7)You better not have drum brakes, these jettas (just like my own mobile) have 11" discs, then again you're prolly not making enough hp to go fast and therefore dont need the stopping power
