Default H&R Coilovers and NEX Coilovers

Just wondering if anybody in the house has any experience with H&R or NEX coilovers in ebay?

I need to decide if I need to go for H&R coilovers, OmniPower Street or the cheap ones in ebay NEX coilover.

Just for daily driving and street use. Any thoughts?

yeah...those H&R coilovers not the just the springs. I have had good experience with H&R springs and I really like them.

I'm just thinking the H&R Coilover's probably good too. But with the rave reviews I read here looks like Omnipower Street is the best bang for the buck.

Though awesome, you really don't need the Koni Yellow's solely for daily driving. KYB AGX's should do you just fine.

i thought omnis were nice because of what a few people have told me but all in all i think that the h & r are probably the best but they are hella expensive at 1150 dollars for good ones.

what i was told is that omnis are made with no name springs and other misc components. if you got the money go with h & r but if you dont then spend 450 bucks on omnis--most people like them.

but when i look at competition cars i see mostly H & R sponsorships not omni.

you should go out and make a purchase then. you seem to know more than what some of us newbs have to offer you. h & r are really good though. my buddy says he had them on his 1.8t and it rode like a champ--then he had the dying turbo sound and sold the car.

i don't have experience with coilovers just springs.

i just want to make sure H&Rs coilovers will be a good buy since based on what I read here...OmniPower street is very appealing to me.

I have the H&R coilovers and for the street they are awesome. they have a progressive spring so they arent rough on daily driving. conversely i am changing to konis with gc's because im setting it up more for the track now.

I have the H&R coilover kit. I really have no complaints about it, as I didn't pay anything for it, but it does handle great. Overall neutral, and you can make the car understeer or oversteer with the throttle. Like a tard I still have the stock sway bars, but the car handles beautifully the way it is. The ride is also nice. Firmer than stock, but not harsh at all, and definitely not bouncy. It's about 1/3 of the way from the hightest setting on it's adjustability, so there's tons of room left to go from this:

VW guys swear by the HR's,
and i've heard so many good things about them.
(and i know a few ppl with them, very nice ride and handle.. hard to describe but they just feel "good")

I really would not take nex over them,
although nex are interesting coilovers and pretty cheap.

My friend with a 98 civic hatch had the NEX coilovers on his car. He hardly drives his car b/c he's a family man, but what I'm trying to get to is that he hardly drives his car and they started to leak. That tells me that NEX coilovers are not high quality. So I say BOO to NEX and YAY to the others!

I have the H&R full coilover road race kit for ITR on my 92 Teg and I love them on the track.

They are a bit too stiff for street, but I soon forget the bumpy ride after a couple of laps on the road course.

I've never tried Onmipower, but you can't go wrong with the H&Rs
I'm running them with sway bars, strut bars, tie bar, c-pillar bar, and ES bushings

CRX is old model and no good coilover sets are produced, but this assambling is best
