So today i was replacing my brake bulbs and thought hey, i wouldn't mind seeing what the car looks like without the wing. so i spray the nuts with wd-40 and start to slowly untighten it, when snap. the bolt breaks right at the surface of the wing.**** i have to take it off now. as i start the second nut, it also snaps, and same with the 3rd one. WTF is going on. the only one that doesnt break is the 4rth one

so now that the wing is off there is paint chipping off right beside the hole. i went out and got some caps for the holes but dont know what to do with the chipping paint. anyone ahve any suggestions?

 

It's better just to take it to the body shop now and have either the holes fulled and that chip painted than god ol' honda rust forming on your trunk.

how much are we looking at for a new ls wing.

its just going to be hard to find it in the teal colour

 

see both ways you will probably have to go to a body shop to have that chip painted and the wing...unless you wanna drive around like some gangsta's with different colour car parts. It's kinda rare to find a teal integra in my opinion here in canada, so id just either spend the money on filling the holes and going wingless or just picking up a ITR wing...its your call

 

hmm.. alright. i do like the car more wthout the wing, but i just dont have the money right this minute to get it all done. is there anything i can do right now for a quick fix? maybe take the chipped paint off and sand the area and buy some touch up paint (bg-33p i think is) and just do that?
