Default sparco harness

ok, i don't know what's wrong with the search feature. but i can't look at old archived topics/threads. anyways....

i have a sparco sprint seat with sparco sliders and brackets. so i don't have the clip for my seatbelt on it.

i was looking at the 4pt harnesses on ebay and it looks like they're mounted to some place.

i'm wondering if anyone knows how to mount the harness? is it mounted to the same bolts as the seat or do i have to mount it else where. i have no idea.

if anyone has any pictures or knows how to do it. it would really help me. that way i know if i want to buy a harness and keep the seat. thanks in advance.

If the rail doesn't have some form of mounting point for the right side of the harness, then you'll have to drill a couple of holes and weld in a nut or two.

so drill holes into the bracket of the seat? i guess that could work. doesn't really make it more safe. but i guess i won't be ticketed for not clickin it!

little different scenario but it might help ya.......in my girls Camaro I have a set of Recaros in it with some 4-point Schroth harnesses. The top actually mounted to the factory seat belt holes that are in the roof(not gonna work on your Teg), but the waist strap I actually mounted to the pivot rod in the seat on each side. Probably not legal though. but as long as my seat is bolted in hella good, I think it will be ok. but do at own risk
