Question #1: I have a stock lip for a 92-95 Civic Si/Ex that is a little rough around the edges. It had a few holes and scrapes. What I want to know is, what would be a could filler (like bondo) if I'm going to refurbish the lip or make it look new? I want to fill in the holes and add some more to the bottom of the lip(where it has been scraped), then respray it black.
Question #2: I'm redoing the white paint on my wheels and I was wondering if it would be better to bake the rim in the oven after paint??? And if so, what would be a good temperature and for how long? This is just to hold me over until actual powdercoating is done.
Any ideas would be appreciated

I'm not too sure about the bondo for the lip, I guess it's worth a shot. Probably the thing of most importance to look at is if you can use it on an application such as plastic.
For the rim painting, I wouldn't bake it necessarily. I've repainted rims before, and have never baked them. We used a red automotive scuff pad you can buy at Auto Zone or Advanced Auto to sand it down. Then used wheel paint to repaint it. Worked perfect, looked awesome, and had held up for over 2 years now.

I'm guess bondo will work I was just asking if there is a particular product I could use to fix the lip.
When I painted them I used the red scuff pad and Duplicolor wheel paint. It didn't work so I used 600 grit sandpaper, primered, painted, used 1500 paper, and repainted again and it still chipped. I was wondering if baking them would help it harden. Because that's what the problem seems to be.

I sure don't know of any particular product for that...
I'm suprised that it didn't work for the wheels. I did forget to say we primered 2-3 coats also. I don't know if maybe a paint shop would be able to give you some advice?

It came off of a friends car. But my car doesn't scrape.

Where do you get this and how much will it cost. I was just looking for something at a decent price to make the lip look like new without buying a new one.
