hey guys i was in some heavy rain on the freeway earlier tonight, and i didnt even go under any big puddles of water. All of a sudden though this yellow check engine light came on? do you think water went in the engine maybe?

my car still drives fine, what do you guys think it is? and should i take it to the dealer right away?

how do i check the engine code.

 

If you have a fourth gen it's down by the gas pedal, in the middle console. Blue connector with two pins. short them together with a wire and turn the key to IGN or acc. The light will blink the code.

Another way to check the code is by looking under your seat for search
