I suggest you look into the Hytech Twinloop setup. Costs about $395 and it'll make more power too.

$1050 with the cat $950 without....
the universal application is infact $395 and the difference between the Hytech and the Mugen is that the Mugen's outer loop is 2 inches. And the Hytech's outer loop is 2 1/2 inches..... Ask for John 949-581-2181

My buddy has it on his 01 ITR and it sounds good. REAL quiet compared with other exhausts, such as twin-loops do, but even quiter than the Mugen that I've heard. Plus the car has a straight pipe. DEF sounds nice though.

I'd give EVERYTHING hy-tech a big

I just want their header

Haven't heard the Hytech yet but the website says "quietest on the market without sacraficingany loss of power"

And the Mugen is relatively quiet.....

it says quietest on the market.. that's what i'm worried of.. i don't want it to be too quiet.. ppl that have the mugen say that it's quiet but it has it's distinct deep sound.. you can definitely tell that it's there.. jus wondering how the hytech twin loop sounds.. thanks for helping me out though..

The Mugen sounds great, but that was my problem...it was TOO quiet. I wanted something that sounded more like Hell's gates were opening and Satan himself was coming out doing 150mph on a 1000hp sportbike....

aight my buddy had a STRAIGHT pipe and the hy-tech and the thing sounded stock.... it was kinda funny.

I'd say if you want some more sound get a T1R. NICE and BEAUTIFUL.

BTW on my GSR I have my $500 cat-back my dad got me for my b-day/x-mas.... the Holley Airmass THUNDERMUFF!!!! LMAO

LOUD AS ****. But 2.5" coated mandrel bent, with S/S muffler. Basically like all the other nice 2.5" exhausts.... but it has a 5" tip

And there is NOTHING like smoking people with a 5" tip.

For the record that is the ONLY real visual thing on my car cept stance and the 15" Rota's I ain't got no stinkin ricer.

BTW with the comptech header, CTR cams, Carsound Cat, Hondata Tune, and THUNDERMUFF!!! at 9K RPM the car sounds REDICULOUS.... and I got challenged by a ferrari 360 and GT3 porsche... no joke. Plus the approval of everyone at Payn while on the dyno

Mine is loud as *****. Neva gotten pulled ova for it... EVER. The solution is easy get a GSR wing. Then you will be good. I mean my car HAS to be over the Db limit at 9K but no cop has EVER rolled me for anything besides my own stupidity and their ignorance.

if i had to replace my spoon n1 with another muffler, it would have to be the fujitsubo rm01a. the construction quality is as good as it gets. the sound is very nice and distinct. like stock, but definitely deeper. it looks great. the one negative (there's always a negative ) is the price. i don't know exactly what they cost, but it's not cheap.

the mugen twin loop is definitely nice as well.

take a test drive on someones itr with the muffler you're interested in. it's too hard to decide on a sound clip if that's what you're after. good luck...

btw, the car is running great!

Pretty acurate there I'd say.... But after hearing the sound clip of the Hytech, it is slightly louder than the Mugen.....

Thats probably what your gonna be happiest with.... jmho
