Default went on vacation, check out what arived while I was gone...

All the parts I had ordered before I left. Walking through the door and seeing the big *** pile of parts sitting there was like Christmas morning circa age 12 all over again! Anyway, I took some pics and thought Id share. These should be going on this weekend depending on if SZA still has the time for it (thanks again in advance Jon!).

What I was greeted with when I came home!

Stainless steel B&M short shifter...

JDM CTR shift boot (and its real to boot, no pun intended of course)...

Energy Suspension shifter bushings (can’t wait to slam through the gears after I install all this).

My JDM ITR skid plate so I don’t dent up my JDM ITR header if I ever bottom out or decide to run in the WRC, heh...

An Omni Power test pipe. Stainless steel, awesome welds, GREAT quality, O2 sensor bung AND its made to fit my header's 2.5" collector and tapers slightly to perfectly hook up to a 60mm exhaust (~2.36")

Check out them welds!

Pretty smooth inside as well...

Speaking of a 60mm exhaust, I got my self one of those. I decided to go with the RS*R EXMAG. Man is this piece super high quality. Perfectly smooth inside, welds are outstanding, VERY solid construction, it doesn’t even weigh much! Plus it’s not straight through muffler design, and includes a rather large pre-resonator so it’s damn quiet unless at WOT, but it still flows very well (and looks pretty sleeperish IMO). Even the tip isn’t a typical ricey melon shooter. Its diameter is just under 4 inches which is pretty small compared to other aftermarket exhausts.

I was going to get a kit for the test pipe which requires welding, since SZA offered to weld it up for me and to add an O2 sensor bung, but I got an awesome deal on the pipe via eBay. The complete piece I bought cost me 45 bucks, VS the 30 for the "DIY kit" from KTeller.com. I figured since it would save time by eliminating welding, and making the entire exhaust system a completely bolt up affair, we would have time to put that short shifter in while the stock exhaust is removed making the job easier (right Jon ). This is an especially good deal considering that this same test pipe goes for 99.99 on kteller as well! WOOT!

I can’t wait to get all this installed and feel/hear the changes it’ll make. Running the stock EM1 Si's weakass exhaust with my new engine swap was probably hindering power production somewhat, so uncorking this bitch should net me some nice gains. At least more so then what a stock Si w/ a B16A2 would see. Ill be sure to take some video and pics after its all said and done.

Id also like to thank everyone (you know who you are) who helped me decide on what parts to actually purchase in order to match my rather picky and stringent criteria.

Oh, and Hawaii was bad ***, I went Scuba diving for the first time. That’s an absolute BLAST. If you haven’t tried it yet, I totally suggest you do so ASAP!

-Joe

I hope you only use that test pipe on a track... the pollution/horsepower gained for daily driving ratio is ******* retarded not to mention the poor people who drive behind you.

That heatsheild won't help you from protecting your header from dents and scrapes, you need one of these.
