I have a 92 civic dx non vtec. and i just bought a 95 ex head. got new gaskets. spark plug wires and timing belt. i wanna plug in v-tec. but my buddy from my car club told me i have two options...either vtec injector or run a p28 with a new distributor to the vtec. which one would be easier to install and more inexpensive. would i need a new distributor?... just need some help here...

 

I dont know if 92+ civics are prewired for vtec or not..

But if not you have to add 4 wires to the wiring harness for vtec..
You can either get a obd1 vtec ecu to control it..p28 would be best..
Or you can get an external vtec controller..vafc,msd switch,shift light in the tach,etc
