I was driving home from school and the car just died on me. Like you shut the key off. it's a 91 sedan LX stock D15B2.

Car will not restart or run at all.

It's at my school so I got all the tools and evreything I need.

I think it's the ignitor because I have no CEL or codes and theres a recall thing on it.

PLZ HELP ME. This is my daily driver so i need this car.

 

If the ignitor isn't the problem check the timing belt.

 

no cel. does it light up when you first turn the key? wehn the fuel pump primes? if it doesnt check ALL the fuses. If the cel goes on when you turn the key but turns off normally make sure you crank the car for at least 15 seconds to make sure there are no codes.

 

ok found the problem. The screw came out of the rotor and it got hung up on the cap. and it cost me a tow
