My climate control lights are not lighting up. The buttons on the bottom do not work but the ones on the top lite up. Is there a plug on the back of the unit that come unplugged or is the bulb burnt out on the bottom.

 

probally just a burt out bulb. or loose connection. take off center console and unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the cc in place.

the unit is obviously getting power so must be bulb or something.

 

Remove the controls and take a look at the wires on the back. There are a few very tiny wires on the back that are soldered in place. I've had mine break loose before. Then go ahead and check the bulbs.

 

I had samekinda problem. The button functinos worked, but the background lights didint. I opened the climate control, and looked inside. Bulbs were fine, but the chip was wasted. One burned connection in chip, so i luckily found new mint climate control from other EF (ed in my area). And it just costed 50€ ($60). And the seller thought it was a high price

Btw, i called honda motor europe to ask some prices about completely new climate control. And the price was nice, 512€ ($600) for new one. Heh, i laughed.
