i heard that at wide open throtle if your car smokes its bad cylinder walls, but is it white smoke or black smoke??? i get some of it at wide open throttle but i think only around vtec which i know im running rich.

Could be bad pistons rings too.

The search still works, you just wont get any hits on anything thats been posted in the past few days.

 

How much smoke are we talking about? If its a little thing and some sult only in VTEC then thats normal, get used to it. Now if its a big *** black thing of smoke and it smells like burned oil then it could be the walls or bad rings (usually rings)

Compression test it.

 

umm i really cant say its small or big hahaha, its just moderate i guess

 

prolly the rings that more likely the problem than the cylinder walls.
