Highest mileage ITR???
I've seen a '97 with about 150k.
Thanks

I'm at 99,961 (miles).
Also a 97, original motor and internals.
Steve Sakai has got to have at least 130K miles ....
Whats the highest mileage ITR you've ever seen? Just wondering. Oh yeah- original motor? I've seen a '97 with about 150k.
Thanks

In 4 days time my ITR will be exactly 2 years old (it had 10 kms on the clock, when I picked it up) and in that time I've driven close to 96,000 kms (~59,650 miles)....averaging 4,000 kms/month (~2,485 miles/month) OR 132 kms/day (~82 miles/day)!!

I'm still on the original motor (as to be expected), although I have replaced my clutch (covered under warranty though, by Mr.Honda). It's been a great fun and I never get tired of driving my ITR and hearing that lovely VTEC sound!

Everyone should try and post they're average 'yearly' or 'monthly' figures....that way we get a better comparison!

Is that kilometers?
No that's in miles. Last time I've seen that R was in the summer. At that time it had about 260KMS (~150Miles). Now it must have more. Oh yeah- this car is also autocrossed and tracked (occassionally). Gone through a few clutches and a few wheel bearings.

I have a 2000 with 40k miles. That pretty good considering the car has sat not driveable for about 1 year out of the 2 I have owned it.
How is 40k good in one year of driving?
I have a 97 #0057 that i bought in November 2001 with 10.5k. Now have 17k. I need to cut down. I might have had one of the oldest ITRs with the lowest mileage until now.

Wow, this must look sweet in your garage. I know this is off topic but I'm wondering if you find the E30 reliable. How is maintenance?

Cold air intake to VTEC is like crack to cocaine - It just makes the VTEC sound so much better!! (Damn SCCA puts you in CSP with it though :mad

Even though it was well worn (to be expected @ such kms), they said it had NOT failed because of abuse and was actually due to a breakage they had never seen or heard of before. Combine that with my 'perfect' service history....the head office for 'Honda Australia' decided they'd cover the AUS$1,400 to parts/labour to replaced the whole clutch.
YIPPIE....thank you Mr.Honda - now if you could just get me off my pending court case for a 'speeding' fine, then I'd create a religion around you - HONDISM.
